lkp upcoming dates

First of all, happy birthday Keith, and Pete! Keith’s birthday in CT was a blast. We had a bunch of fun loving people who came out to celebrate and have a good time, and the cake was amazing, too! All the things a growing band could ask for, an attentive crowd, and some killer cake! Friday night rolled into Saturday, and we headed to Stowe for the Nail, and the Fed Cup tourney that was being held in stowe. It was a madhouse. As I expected, no famous people showed up to dance, but a ton of the regulars and locals made the trip to have some fun. Needless to say, we had a great time, and have the scars to prove it. In a nutshell, we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.

This coming week, we’re kicking out a three-fer with the Brimmer on Thursday and a return weekend to Rick’s in Naples, ME on Friday and Saturday. This is the first time we’ve been back at the brimmer in a while (after my date snafu) and we’re totally looking forward to the fun that should be cranking on Thursday night. Come out and have a blast with us, then pack the van and head for Maine for a little R+R.

Next weekend is a little private party on Friday, then back to the Anchorage in Sunapee on Saturday, so look out Sunapee, the kid is back in town!

This week, the awards go to:

The belated stormtrooper award goes to the guy that looked like George Lucas playing the Star Wars video game in Maine. Too funny.

The DMZ award goes to the Motel in CT that made us all wish for our comfy little beds on Friday night. Hey, nobody got hurt, so what’s the big deal?

The rock star pose award goes to Kyle (not our Kyle) for Friday night sitting in with the band and rocking out!

The warren award goes to warren for being warren.

The good sport award goes to Kate for my impromptu song on Saturday. I had fun, I hope y’all did too.

And the narcolepsy award goes to all of us for many miles and a few winks along the way.

We’re well in to summer, and the sunny days seem to be eluding us from time to time. So, it is our goal to get little miss sunshine out so we can have some fun with her. It’s about time we have a week with more than a day of lemon yellow sun. Bring it on, mother nature, we’d love to see it.
