upcoming lkp dates

Now that the trails are open up in the north country, the crowd at the Outback was jammin! The Blazer on Friday night was nothing to sneeze at as well. Just another fun weekend is what we’d have to call it over and over again. The Blazer is definitely coming into it as one of our new favorites as we get used to that room, and the fact that there are a lot more people in the room than we can see! The way the room is split up keeps it cozy, with some of the people on the dance floor are actually closer to being on stage. Honorary members of LKP are just fine, and the stage won’t allow many there, but it’s worth a shot! Now that snowmobiling is actually a reality, the Outback was probably the busiest I’ve ever seen it. With the massive expansion of a couple of years ago, it’s a hard room to make look full, but Saturday was definitely there. packed stem to stern, and a full dance floor pretty much all night. It was great to see all the familiar faces up there, along with a bunch of new flatlanders up for the weekend. We had a great time, and thank Matt and Francis as always for taking great care of us. Not to forget Kyle and Chi Chi at the blazer who did an amazing job as well. We dug it, and we’ll be back!

This weekend brings us on a central Vermont tour, with Gusto’s on Friday and the Rusty Nail on Saturday. We’ve heard that Stowe is rockin’ so get up and enjoy one of the biggest, baddest bars that we play at. Huge dance floor, multi levels, pool tables, food, and the ice bar to top it all off. Definitely worth the weekend in Vermont to cure what ails you! We’ll be hanging out and having fun for the weekend, shouldn’t you?

This week’s awards go to:

The breakfast sandwich award goes to the Outback in West Stewartstown. 4 out of 4 LKP members agree that it is beyond good, and beyond big!

The snow record award I think goes to Jay peak, which got 50 inches. Any better? Let us know.

The inpatient award goes to the lipstick red Dodge. Oh, excuse me, impatient. I was thinking of what he needed to be.

The forgetful award goes to me, gloves in Pittsburg, john not anymore.

And the narcolepsy award goes to john, the guy at Mike and Ed’s table who slept through most of the third set. Hope we didn’t disturb him….
