upcoming lkp dates!

Another crazy week, great gigs on last Friday and Saturday, and enough vitamins to kick the cold that should have been hanging out in February!  The Yard was a test, and proved that we could have a decent crowd on a Friday in a room that usually doesn’t do Fridays as much.  We thank all the die hards for coming out and having fun with us!  Next we give a big thanks to Steve, Renee, Jane and Mike for throwing a wild party!  From a 42 pound turkey and a whole pig, to some great single malts and killer desserts, we had a blast, and totally enjoyed playing for the widest age range we have in a while.  A good time was had by all, and the weather was perfect.

This week is our busiest in a few whiles, and throws in some curve balls, as well as a couple of fast balls out over the plate.  Tonight we continue the Thursday trend with a night at Whippersnappers.  This is an 8:30 to 11:30 show, and dinner and dancing is highly recommended.  Come early, stay…well, early.  An easy night to come out and have fun, and not have it ruin your Friday.  Speaking of Friday, this is a once in forever gig for us.  Gord’s brother Rob will be filling in on bass as Bill takes a night to catch up with some friends from out of town.  Rob has not been at the Rusty Nail since the night it burned down.  A triumphant return, if I may say so, and we’re totally looking forward to the twists and turns that Rob is sure to bring.  If you get the chance, this is a not to miss gig!  Friday rolls into Saturday, and we return to the Brimmer in Manchester, with about a month since the last time we were there, it feels like forever.  It should be another one for the record books!  Speaking of records, the Stewstock of last year has become Stewapalooza this year.  The hottest party on Lake Sunapee, follow the sound of the music for a great party.  Tix are $25 for food, music and fireworks, and we hope to see you there!

            This week’s awards go to…

The fifth Beatle award goes to Scott for his help on Friday night with sound and lights

The crazy girl award goes to the whole group of girls from Forever 21 that graced Friday night’s gig.

The artistic license award goes to Steve who chainsawed the kid into a log, and that was the fifth Beatle on Saturday night.

The host and hostess with the mostest award goes to Jane, Mike, Steve and Renee for putting together a crazy night.

And the narcolepsy award goes to all the kids who stayed up way past their bedtime to dance and have fun.
