Electra, fair Electra. Wow. we had more people there than we’ve had in a long time, and it was a great thing. I couldn’t believe how many new faces, and some blasts from the past that made it out Friday night. With the weather being squirrely (sp?) we weren’t sure if everyone was going to choose the couch over some dancing. Well, thankfully, they chose to come out and have a blast. We had a few dance awards, some of which deserve mentioning below, and some great comedic moments that should maybe be left to each person’s own closet of memories. In any case, it was a great time, and we’ll be back to do it all over again soon!
The next to last night at the Matterhorn was equally as fun, but I think Edwin McCain playing up the street, and bust and burn this Saturday made for a comparatively slow night. Not that we had a dead room, just it seemed like all our regulars were gearing up for this Saturday to let it loose. We had a great time, and had some funny moments to say the least, but we’re getting ready for this Saturday to have the season finale!
This weekend is a return to the world famous whippersnappers in Londonderry, and as mentioned above, the final gig of the season at the Matterhorn. We are totally looking forward to both, and expect you all to come play with us. I am scheduling this play date now, so there are no problems with scheduling once we get to the weekend. I’ll bring the m&m’s if someone will bring the juice boxes.

The F award goes to Leon, who used the F in between every other word in our conversations – well done and something to strive for.
And the narcolepsy award goes to Darren who had to deal with all the cars in the giggly weeds on Friday night.
