Sorry for the lack of emails and stuff lately, but it’s been a busy one. Sleep deprivation is a curious thing! But anyway, we’re off in ski world full in effect! It’s been a great start to the winter season, and we’re looking forward to all the fun that we have each time we hit the stage at our favorite mountain bars. We’ll be up in Maine a lot this year, and both times we’ve been so far have been off the hook. Thanks to all the familiar faces for coming back, and bringing all your friends. Special thanks to Greg and Roger at the Matterhorn for making it so easy to have a good time. In other shout outs, we’d like to thank all the cool kids in St. Johnsbury for the Front Row Sports Tavern. This one will be one of our faves as we get a chance to play there more often. This bar has changed hands and is a lot more sports then it used to be, and is set up differently so it’s more conducive to dance. We had a blast and just need to get used to the load in!

In other news, the Red Blazer in Concord is figuring out its entertainment, so we won’t be there in the foreseeable future. I’m hoping that we’ll be able to do some gigs there, we always had a great time. Also, since the Black Brimmer won’t return phone calls or emails, we are looking for a new place to play in Manch Vegas. Not sure why, but after a couple of months of no reply, we’re moving on. So, that being said, we’ll entertain any ideas for new locations in the Queen city. Since the winter is full, we’ll have to look toward spring/summer to get back on track down there. In the meantime, come down to Whips or Sky or the Yard when you see us there. We’ll be smiling and having fun as always.

This weekend, we’re kicking it out in West Leb and Stowe. It should be a complete blast, since we haven’t been to either location in a month or more. We’re always having fun at both locations with big dance floors and great food. Speaking of great food, Venison with wild mushroom risotto at the Matterhorn was killa! Do our gigs revolve around food? Maybe. Anyway, check out the upcoming dates below, and we’ll see you all when you can. Go Pats, and walk hard!

How was Christmas for you? Get everything you wanted? We hope so. Now that the major day of the silly season is over, we can get down to business! This weekend has us at both ends of the states, and we’re looking forward to seeing a bunch of regulars as well as new faces as we crank out this weekend. We’ll be cranking it up at the Sky Lounge in Nashua this Friday. If you haven’t seen this club, it’s got a great setup with balconies, and a couple of bars with pool tables and a big dance floor. Check it out! Then Saturday is a new one for us. We’re hoping that the crew from Newport, VT etc comes down to check us out at the Front Row Sports Tavern in St. Johnsbury. We’ve played this room before when it was a different name, and we’re looking forward to this one! We hope that the fact that we haven’t been in the north country in a while will convince some of you crazies to head down and see us, and end 07 with a bang! Come and play, and we’ll see you there!

To finish off the year, we’re ringing in ’08 at the Rusty Nail in Stowe. This one should be a complete blast. Huge room with multiple bars, and a great attitude. With another year under our belts, all we can say is thanks for 11 years, and we’ll see you in #12. A lot has happened over those years, and we hope that you find yourself happy and healthy in the months and years to come.
