lkp dates

First of all, a great weekend was had by all at Electra and the Outback. We saw a bunch of new faces at both places and had a blast. Electra was a great reminder of how fun it is to watch people who actually listen to the lyrics and like to get a laugh out of the changes. We had a great time and headed off to the north woods for some continued action. The Outback proved that there are some dancing fools up there in the woods, and that there should probably be a chaperone from time to time to keep people in line – more in the awards…

This weekend is NASCAR weekend at the Red Blazer in Concord. We’ll be cranking it out on Friday night, and you never can tell who’ll be there. sometimes there’s a driver or 2, and there’s always something fun going on when the race is in town. Hey Mike, tell all the guys we really are playing 15 minutes away this time! Saturday is Sox/Yanks, so Eric’s gonna enjoy those tickets!

This week’s awards go to:

The artiste award goes to the creator of the ketchup and mustard mountain scene “painted” on the side of the band truck in West Stew. What smells like a cookout?

The clothing chaperone award goes to the young lady who was convinced that her LKP racer back tank was on backwards, and flipped it around. Thus creating an interesting alternative way to wear it!

The fun killer award goes to the young lady who shorted out my lighting controller when she opened a full bottle of water and tried to throw it on the crowd from the stage. Yes, she was escorted from the stage, and the building, and because she was dumb enough to run her mouth and be a tool the WHOLE time, she was banned from Electra. Well done, stupid. Everyone else figured out how to have fun without being a complete (your favorite term for a loser here). Have fun by yourself. Here’s your next fun math problem: Fork + electrical outlet = new hair don’t.

The best behaved bevy of babes award goes to all the other young ladies who joined us on stage for the last song, didn’t spill anything and didn’t break anything, and were happy to be up on stage and under control. Well done, ladies, you can come back any time. just don’t bring the fun killer!

And the narcolepsy award goes to Jason and Kyle for the ride home on Sunday morning. When you can go to McD’s for breakfast, and not have to wait for them to open, you know its nappy time!

lkp upcoming dates

What a great weekend! We took Friday off, and then had a killer night at the brimmer! Tons of new faces, and lots of positive energy. We’re totally looking forward to the fall as the temps get more reasonable when there are a veritable plethora of people inside, making it a bit steamy! After a great night like that, how do you top it? Well, move the party outside at stew’s and crank it up a few notches! We had perfect weather for Stewfestockapaloozaroo. Unbelievable temps, and perfect skies for the fireworks. Tons of great fireworks, and lots of great dancing. Also, former bassist/keyboardist/vocalist and all around talent Bill Edmondson came to the party and filled in as the fifth Beatle for a few songs, and hung with us all night. Great to see you, Bill, you’re welcome to play any time! the night rolled on with some fantastic dancing and late night shenanigans. We had a blast, and the awards will say why.

This week, we’re at Electra tonight. Get out and play with us. It’s been a while since we’ve been in the Upper Valley, and Electra is going through some changes. Some new ownership to start, and we’ll be seeing things change as the new peeps get their ideas in motion. Come check it out. We’re right at the beginning of the transition, so we’ll see what happens! Saturday is the return to the north country to the Outback in West Stewartstown. We’ll be hanging with the boys and girls up there for a load of fun, so come up and see the early foliage! I don’t know if there is any yet, so don’t take my word for it!

This week’s awards go to:

The stage as dance floor award goes to all the ladies who joined us at the end of the second break for some impromptu dance skills on stage. It’s been a while since we’ve had 10 people on stage! I think Berni’s wedding was the record, but this came close!

The return of the kid award goes to Bill. Thanks for coming back and having some fun with us!

The synchronized dancing award goes to the 2 girls at Stew’s. not quite Roxbury boys, but close!

The patient parent award goes to chicken wing Bob for watching his daughter dance up front all night!

The Hai-tong or high thong award goes to aqua thong girl it was higher above her jeans than Eric’s ape hangers are above the tank!

The weeble award goes to drunk boy whose head was so heavy after partaking that he had to run and regain his balance!

And the narcolepsy award goes to the last one at the tiki bar. Time to nap!
