lkp dates

Well it’s Friday morning quarterback again. With the weather the way it has been up here, and how busy life seems to get, I have gotten pretty lazy on the weekly emails. Then, we have 2 amazingly busy nights on the week that I don’t send one out. So, is it me, or do people check the website, and not need my words of wisdom to get out and play with us? I guess I’d like to think that the emails remind people what’s going on, but they still keep an eye out for what’s happening on the website schedule. It makes me happy that people check the schedule, but I still feel bad when I’m late with it or blow it off.

So, brimmer – amazing, lots of new faces over easter weekend. Then the Blazer, again another unbelievable crowd that made the night for us. Tons of happy people, and lots of good times. Dancing fools abound and a great reason to do it all over again. So one great weekend deserves more, so we’ll be cranking it out the next couple of weekends just for the heck of it.

This Friday, we’ll be back at the Rusty Nail, so get up for some more skiing and we’ll provide the nightlife. We are off Saturday, and may head out to check out some other bands while we have the chance. Then, on the 20th and 21st, we’ll hit the north country with our return to the new version of the Lucky dog, now called the Rendezvous in Newport, VT, and then finish off the weekend at the Outback in west stew. So, have some fun, have a great couple of weeks, and we’ll see you when we can.

This week’s awards go to:

The dance award goes to Nate and his crew for the dance off on Saturday.

The service award goes to Chi Chi, who even remembers what we had the last time we were there. just way too good at her job.

The bonehead award goes to don Imus. Yeah, it was out of line, but it was on a COMEDY radio show. Maybe it’s just me, but not something to lose your job over. As my buddy dave would say, don’t get me started…. (the opinions of the writer are not necessarily the opinions of anyone else in LKP, a wholly owned subsidiary of the people’s republic of china) you get the point.

And the narcolepsy award goes to the staff at the Blazer, who were up for easter meals at the restaurant WAY too early!
